Thanks for visiting our home page! Prince of Peace Catholic School is a wonderful place for young people to learn and grow in a safe, faith-filled, academic environment. We are proud to be a Catholic School and a member of CISE (Catholic Inner-City Schools Education Fund).

At Prince of Peace Catholic School, we believe in the value of nurturing the whole child. We emphasize a student's full academic potential, social development, and religious formation.
We hope you take the time to look over our site and know you are welcome anytime to come to visit us!

In Christ,
Frank Barlag, Principal

bullet icon What Parents say about our school:

"Prince of Peace is a wonderfully diverse learning environment. My oldest daughter graduated from Prince of Peace with the highest grade point average of her 8th grade class and went on to St. Ursula Academy, one of the top schools in the nation, where she is an honor roll student. I also have a younger daughter at Prince of Peace who excels in Math and Reading above her 3rd grade level. I call Prince of Peace the 'hidden gem'. Great teachers, great school and great results."

WINTER

As it appears that winter has arrived this week, I would like to remind parents and students of three equally important points.

  1. If Cincinnati Public Schools are closed or on a delay, we will follow their directives.
  2. Prince of Peace Catholic School, Cincinnati will never be on a delay without CPS being on a delay.  Sometimes TV and radio stations report this incorrectly.
  3. Please know that boots of any kind are not permitted to be worn in the building.  This allows for good upkeep and maintenance of our hallway floors and classrooms.

Boots
I want to remind parents that boots of any kind are not to be worn in the school building. Students can certainly change into boots for walking to and from school, and also for outdoor recess. The school uniform code also states that only a solid white shirt may be worn under the Prince of Peace polo shirt.
